A Study of Research Tendency in Doctoral degress about Seniors¡¯ Medical Welfare

Abstract
This study alms to analyze the tendency of research contents and methods utilized by the past five years` dissertations (from 2009 to 2013) for doctoral degrees about seniors` medical welfare at Graduate School. The results of the analyses are as follows. Firstly, as for the characteristics of 99 dissertations in the yearly analysis of them, According to the yearly analysis, the number of the dissertations for doctoral degree that were turned out in 2010 was twenty six, which was the largest during the five years. and seven in 2013, the smallest number during that time. Secondly, as for the analysis of the dissertation subjects, the subject of the other various subjects accounted for the largest portion (43.3%) of all, the elderly accounted for 43.3%, and professions for the elderly were treated as a subject by less than 14% of all the dissertations. Thirdly, as for the these of the dissertations, many of the dissertations for doctoral degrees dealt with the other and psychological themes. As for sub-divisions, the matter of satisfaction was mostly treated by dissertations for doctoral degrees. Fourthly, as for the methods of collecting materials, 90% of the dissertations for doctoral degrees implemented questionnaires (including interviews). Fifthly, as for the research methods of the dissertations, 87% of the dissertations for doctoral degrees used post-test experiment designs. Finally, as for statistical analysis methods, 48% of the disseratations for doctoral degrees commonly utilized the method of a multiple regression analysis in an multivariate analysis.
